Silver jewellery may darken or lose its shine over time. To bring it back to life, gently polish it with a soft cloth / toothbrush and a trusted metal cleaner. You can also use warm water, mild soap (like sunlight liquid), and a soft toothbrush for a quick clean.
If you’re in Pretoria, you’re welcome to drop your piece off at our studio for a professional clean.
Necklaces and chains can sometimes look dull if they come into contact with lotions, perfumes, or sprays so it’s best to put your jewellery on last when getting ready.
Swimming with your jewellery is also not recommended as the Chloring in the water will instantly tarnish jewellery.
To keep your gold-plated jewellery looking beautiful for longer, avoid wearing it in the shower, pool, or during workouts.
Plating will naturally fade with time, but every piece is made with solid 925 sterling silver, ensuring lasting quality. When needed, we offer affordable aftercare services: replating for R100.
